Coffee and Donuts – could you name a better duo than this?

UOW Cafe Amigos understand the demand of socialising and meeting people around campus, that is why we embarked on a coffee and donuts event right here at Hemingway Cafe to create a cozy atmosphere for you to enjoy the taste of a good coffee come along with some pastry.
The irresistible charm of this pairing
Two boxes full of donuts are here! All those shiny delicious pantries were waiting for you. For the day we had chocolate, strawberry, sprinkled and other various bagels ready to be served for each of our special guests.
Let me just say the donuts tasted out of this world, and with a cup of espresso or cappuccino? This is a treat! But you know what is even more exciting? Got to meet new mates. It has been wonderful to see many of your happy faces on such a lovely Tuesday morning.
Cafe Amingos always ready to mingle
International students, marketing students, you name more, they are all there. Different as they seem, but there is one interest they share in common: coffee. I got to understand others’ cultural backgrounds, heard their stories, and perhaps met my future coffee besties.
I met Khoushik Ravi, who is studying for a Master’s in engineering (Management) and attended our Coffee and Donuts for the first time, but it seems as if this is his million times.
“One thing that I like the most about the event today is to enjoy coffee of course, but also to talk to people, explore their culture and also their studying,” he said.
“I would love to join more events like this in the future because being an international student, meeting people is the whole point of traveling all the way here.”
Encouraged by this, we will continue to create more social events like this for all the coffee enthusiasts around campus to mingle with your friends and spread all their love with coffee. To end this gloomy weather in August, there is nothing better than a hot drink to warm up our hearts.
So, go ahead, brew that coffee, pick up those donuts, and stay tuned for more of our exciting events coming up in September and October.
